At the Humane Society Silicon Valley, a local animal shelter, Justin and I found Astro. Astro had a reputation for being a touch "aggressive" but yet charming. He wasn't getting along with other cats in his shelter room because of his street cred. So they gave him a separate a room of his own! His previous owners only adopted him for a few days and gave him back to the shelter. We eventually fell in love, and the next day we brought him home. He still insists on sitting on our front porch every day since he arrived home, but he enjoys cuddling at night. He may act tough at times, but once you get to know him, he's a true softie on the inside. Considering that Astro was born on the streets, he has genuinely appreciated finding his forever home.
